Hello Doodle!

Miss Isabel really loves and misses her friend Doodle! But, not to worry, she is still having "fun" :) We had an end-of-summer swim and BBQ in the cul-de-sac. It was fun to have all the kids in the pool and see what good swimmers they are! Buddy likes to put his head underwater and look at you. Haley likes to climb person to person to say "Hi" then swim along. Isabel and Casson played for a long time doing their own thing. Xavier paddled around in his floaties. And the fearless Carter stayed pretty close to his dad. From what I can tell Carter is the only diver in the bunch.

Isabel did something funny - Paula didn't want to get wet so Isabel, unprovoked by any adults, got a bucket of water and splashed it on Paula! She continued to harass Paula until Paula finally dove under water escaping the cute, annoying creature but, ultimately, giving that creature victory! Isabel did a little victory dance and chanted something to the effect of, "I made Paula go underwater!" (Catchy, eh!?) Later Isabel continued the taunting and dove underwater to tickle Paula's feet. That taunting didn't last long because Paula doesn't do feet.
