Catching up

I've been catching up with people while I'm here. The top photo is of Jacob, Chris, and I at GCC on Sunday night. It was cool and strange to be back there. The church has the same scent that it always did. It is neither good nor bad, it just is. The coolest thing was listening to Anthony perform his own music during the service and in the cafe afterwards. He has such talent! (Ummm ... it was also cool catching up with Chris and Jacob!)

The second picture is of Olivia and I. She invited me around to her house for a cup of coffee and a chat. I am continuously shocked to find that these "kids" from the high school group have graduated university and are starting proper careers! How old am I!

Speaking of age - I'm usually quite happy to earn another year and think I wear the thirty-one that I have fairly well. Well, at GCC on that Sunday I filled out a visitors card because I wanted a free mug. On the card are boxes to check to indicate your age. I was taken aback when I realized that my box was way to the right of the page, three from the end!!! How did I get that far over in the age range? I checked the 31-40 box. Yikes!!! GCC needs to change their boxes, I reckon :)
