While in Auckland I am staying in two houses - Pip's and Ang's (the Penk's). I spent Monday-Wednesday of this week doing the mum thing with Ang who has two adorable girls - Emily and Stella. We went shopping on Monday which was a bit of a mission as Emily wasn't all that keen on leaving the house and spending the day out and about. Tuesday we went to Mainly Music in the morning - a music/dance activity for little people where they sing, play "music" (bang on tambourines and such), and dance. On Wednesday Emily had a few friends over to celebrate her second birthday which is actually on the fourth of July. It was full-on (busy) and fun. I got to take Emily to the park on Wednesday but forgot my camera. Em and I will have to do it again so I can get photos of her licking the ladder and putting wood chips in her mouth! Or, maybe a better photo would be her swinging or sliding on the slide.
